Sydney Cyclists uses inner-Sydney traffic cameras to see who’s riding a bike, and when. The analysis is built on public TfNSW traffic-camera images.

Behind the scenes a computer vision model finds the cyclists, sorts each one into a type (Lime share bike, delivery rider, or private cyclist), and infers their direction from how they’re facing in the frame. The numbers are observed-scale: not an absolute count. The Methods page describes the full pipeline.
